Professional Portrait Photography
Jim made his reputation initially in family photography. His skill is in being able to get people of all ages to relax in front of the camera.
Our portrait photo shoots are always fun. We do not work in a studio and usually meet at the beach, in the New Forest, or anywhere else you feel would suit you. The photo shoot might involve one child, or perhaps an extended family of twenty. We often photograph family reunions or birthday and anniversary celebrations.
Portrait Photography Sessions
A portrait session is usually at least an hour, often longer. We start out by taking some time to get to know each other. This can be very important with young children, as they may feel apprehensive about being photographed. Once everyone feels quite relaxed, Jim will start shooting. He will take a range of photographs, dependent on what you are hoping to achieve.
Once the photo shoot is over, Jim will go back to the studio and edit the photographs. He will crop, colour correct, and remove any blemishes! Then you will be able to view the photos, either by coming to the studio, or by viewing online.
It is up to you whether you order one print, or twenty. Our prices are very reasonable, and as a result you may well find that you can order a good range of photos for the same cost that some studios would charge for one. Some prices are shown below for your guidance.
